The recent proposed bill in the Florida Senate was colloquially named the "don't say gay" bill as it would ban all discussion and education of LGBT topics in elementary schools. Children have their voices taken away from them, unable to express what they are feeling for fear of being reported to unsupportive parents or bullied by ignorant peers. The base of the sculpture is in the shape of Florida, and the figure sits atop it in a void without handholds; no support. The child is upset for trying to discover who they are, only to be hushed, and sheds a singular tear.

CEOs in Our Seas
Corporate America is made up of power hungry individuals who would rather see the oceans burn in oil spills than take a decline in business. In a turn of events, a business man has found himself choked around the neck with a plastic bottle, courtesy of the pollution his company is helping to promote. Any business not actively helping and looking out for the environment is hurting it. His face is drawn in particular fear and anguish as he suffocates around the plastic.
